The Sound of Salzburg

From Munich in Germany we traveled to Salzburg in Austria.

We didn't travel on this bus, but were intrigued by the fact that it's run on electric wires above the street.

We admired the strange street signs...

And then we got down to the business of actually enjoying the gorgeous little city. Salzburg is famous for two things. Mozart and The Sound of Music.

We decided that the best way to get in the mood was to go and see a show with music from both.

It included dinner. Tom was thrilled.

And apple strudel for dessert! One of my favourite things!

The show itself was very entertaining.

Audience participation, as always, well received.

We decided that the only way we could top off all that good humour was to leap through fountains.

I'm not making any promises to take the next day any more seriously either!
