Daniel's Afters

When we finished the painting in Daniel's room, I didn't take proper photos of the finished product.

Bad blogger!

So here they are at last, with the befores:

And here's the last wall, the one that borders on the lounge room, with the door on it.


And the last unstained or unpainted surface in the room, the ceiling. Before:

We got the ceiling paint tinted with Sandy Day (by Dulux) in Solver paint, the same colour as on the walls, but quarter strength instead of half strength. I didn't feel like this room would be good with a more strongly coloured ceiling like the master bedroom, so stayed fairly neutral. Because the light hits the ceiling differently to the walls, it actually looks almost exactly the same colour as the walls. Certainly a massive improvement on the ceiling we started with!

So that's the two bedrooms completely finished (other than the trims)! We're nearly there with the painting!
